Stress Less -Wellbeing Event 1.11.
Are you tired and stressed out? Are your studies, work, volunteer student organizational work or life in general keeping you down? Do you feel you need help coping with stress? Do you feel that talk about well being usually only just talk? Would you like to train yourself and talk about this issue more?
We can offer you light in the middle of darkness of Fall. Welcome to our Stress Less -event, organized by Condus! Stress Less will be held on Thursday 1.11. at 16-19.30 in Minerva Plaza (Siltavuorenpenger 5 A, K2-floor). Here we can discuss about an important and yet still rarely discussed matter that is student well being and stress endured by students. This event is meant for students of all ages, of all professions and of all year groups. Before the event starts we will have a few fun and useful exercises regarding well being – the event itself will have several speakers and various workshops on coping with stress. Come along to learn new skills and knowledge in a laid back and relaxed environment!

10.10. Condus Amazing Race
Brain cells, ingenuity and wit – these are the things you need in this challenging city orienteering! Condus Amazing Race is one of the biggest events of the fall and traditionally it has been sold out very quickly. Didn’t manage to gather a team before registration? Not to worry: keep an eye on for the Facebook-event – – some teams might still need reinforcements!
16.10. Condus Masquerade sitsit
Condus is organizing Masquerade sitsit at Alina-sali for 80 eager sitsit attendants. Make sure you get your ticket and start planning for your mask for the Ball! There will be food and merriment and drinks galore, a lot of fun and new and old faces to meet and to mingle with. So give the sitsit a go and come join us for a unforgettable evening of fun and merriment! #Condusinternational

November is dedicated to HYY’s volunteer activities. The HYY150 Festival puts together the best events of the organisations and committees operating under HYY. The two-week programme culminates in the Student Union’s 150th Anniversary on 24 November.

Greetings from the Equality Committee Meeting
The Equality Committee had its first meeting of the fall on Thursday September 20th. There was discussion, among other things, about practices and rules at sitsit and how equal they are. Other big discussion topic was the betterment of feeling of togetherness in our faculty.
The dean had decided to form an equality group. Committee members will be for example at the faculty meeting.

Join Professor Rachel Heiser, Director of Academic Support Services at Bryn Mawr College, to discuss the American liberal arts education experience. This discussion will allow for open dialogue to explore today’s student experience and global higher education trends, engendering a greater understanding of available pathways to encourage student self-efficacy, resilience, and retention.
