1. UPCOMING EVENTS
1.12. CLOTHES AND MOVIES
Do you have some clothes that are clean and usable, but you just don’t really wear them anymore? Bring them to Conddoori in the morning for a clothes exchange. Items are available at Conddoori throughout the day and the ones left over in the evening will be taken to a recycling center.
After the “clothes” part, we gather at Gustavus Rex to watch an environment-themed film and eat popcorn!
This event is organized by the Condus environment committee.
2.12. CND GASTRO: FOOD + WINE = YUMMY!
Welcome to the first official event of Condus’ newest club, CND Gastro! This workshop-type event is about finding the perfect pairs of wines and appetizers. Depending on the number of people attending there will be 6 to 8 sittings. The address is Paciuksenkaari 17 (at Pikku Huopalahti). Come and get some tips for the holiday season!

5.12. PRE-FUNERAL FACULTY CHRISTMAS
Or, a Pre-Christmas Faculty Funeral. Wait, what?
From the 1st of January 2017 on, our beloved Faculty will be no more, and many of our member associations will leave to start new lives in other Faculties. We wanted to commemorate our 12+ years together and gather up all the Behavioural Sciences students to party one last time before we bury our old Faculty.
We also wanted to have a Pre-Christmas. So, we mashed the two things together. Marvellous. Welcome to Gustavus Rex on Monday 5th of December, 19:00 onwards, to eat, drink, be merry, play some games and remember the good old times!
6.12. INDEPENDENCE DAY PROCESSION
On Independence Day thousands of students gather together to march the funeral cortege route of Marshal C.G.E. Mannerheim. You can join us and walk under the Condus flag! Procession starts at 17:00 from the Hietaniemi cemetery and finishes at the Senate Square around 18:00.
8.12. CONDUS BOARD MEETING
Condus board of 2016 meets up for the last time this year on 8th December at 17:00 at Gustavus Rex (Leppäsuonkatu 11). As always, the meeting is open to all Behavioural Sciences students.
9.12. PRE-CHRISTMAS PARTY
Let’s party one last time before our exchange students leave Finland! Come to Gustavus Rex on Friday 9.12 at 6pm. The party is open to everyone, but the language used is English. More information is coming so stay tuned!
11.12. STUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SITZ

3. FACULTY RENAMING
2017 is a year of change for everyone at the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences. Some subjects will move to other faculties (Psychology and Logopedics will move to the Faculty of Medicine, and Phonetics and Cognitive Science to the Faculty of Arts) and the name of our faculty will change to Faculty of Educational Sciences. As a result, the current Institute of Behavioural Sciences and Department of Teacher Education will disappear. Despite these changes all teaching will continue as normal throughout the spring semester.
The new Big Wheel study programmes will also start up. New freshmen starting in the fall of 2017 will begin their studies in the Education Sciences Bachelor’s Degree Programme. However, the Big Wheel degree programmes are still under construction, and over the spring semester current students will be informed of the effects of the new programmes on their continuing studies.
